England forward Joe Worsley has undergone scans on his right knee after going off in the second minute of last Saturday’s clash against New Zealand at Twickenham.
Worsley’s club Wasps say no timescale can be given for his recovery at this stage.
Worsley, capped 74 times, will now see a surgeon to discuss the best way of managing an injury that could possibly sideline him for a considerable period of time. Scans indicate the 32-year-old flanker has suffered a grade three medial collateral ligament injury.
