DARTS BETTING: Live on Sky Sports 1@ Thu 19:00
The Premier League moves to Exeter for week 4. Its Wade V Lewis, Baxter V Whitlock, King V Jenkins and Barneveld V Taylor.
Raymond Van Barneveld V Phil Taylor
Barney is second to bottom of the Premier League table with just one win in his first three matches and he will need to rediscover his best form if he is to put a stop to Phil Taylor’s 100% record. bet365 make Barney 6/1, Ladbrokes offer 6/1 against the draw whilst The Power is just 2/7 at 888Sport to make it four in a row. The World Champion is also 4/11 at Ladbrokes to win the Premier League and just 1/14 at bet365 to claim the regular season title.
James Wade V Adrian Lewis
Reigning champion Wade is yet to register a win so far this season and is propping up the rest in the standings. Nevertheless Skybet make him odds on at 5/6 to qualify for the play offs and 5/4 to get off the mark in this one with Stan James. The draw is 4/1 at William Hill and Lewis 17/10 at Sportingbet.
Mervyn King v Terry Jenkins
This one could be the most evenly contested match of the night with both players in decent form. King has two wins from three and starts as Boylesports even money favourite. Jenkins also has four points and is 4/1 for a third draw of the campaign at Ladbrokes and 15/8 at Blue Square to overtake Lewis in the table.
Ronnie Baxter v Simon Whitlock
Ronnie Baxter upset the odds last week to pick up his first win of the season when beating Mervyn King 8-6 in Belfast but the bookies don’t fancy his chances against the new kid on the block. The Blackpool thrower is 10/3 at Stan James for another shock, the draw is 9/2 at Skybet but Whitlock looks the value at 8/13 with Blue Square for another two points.
The Australian was impressive when beating Barney 8-5 and has a great eye for the doubles and could be worth a flutter to win the Premier League “without Taylor” at 3/1 with boylesports.
