Big Fella Thanks Backed Again For Aintree

HORSE RACING: Coral has trimmed the John Smith’s Grand National favourite Big Fella Thanks to 7/1 (from 8s), following support for the horse confirmed as Ruby Walsh’s Aintree mount.

By contrast, former favourite and stablemate of Big Fella Thanks, Tricky Trickster, is eased to 14/1 (from 10/1).

“Ruby Walsh has a terrific record in the National, and punters were quick to back his chosen mount once the decision was announced. As a result Big Fella Thanks looks certain to start favourite for next month’s race, while support for Tricky Trickster has dried up following his disappointing Gold Cup run and Ruby’s decision to desert him,” Coral‘s David Stevens told betrescue.com
