DARTS BETTING: Live On Sky Sports 1: Thur 19:00 Week 13 of the Darts Premier League comes from the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, where Mervyn King takes on Raymond Van Barneveld.
Adrian Lewis v Ronnie Baxter
Lewis showed some sparkles of form last week against Whitlock after a couple of losses which has seen him drop out of the playoff places. Adrian Lewis has put this down to the fact that his dart snapped 3 weeks ago and he has been playing with heavier darts, which he is now used to. Lewis is 10/11 with 888sport to beat Baxter, who himself has not won since Round 8 and is 11/5 with Betdaq.
Mervyn King v Raymond Van Barneveld
Raymond wowed Aberdeen last week with a 9 darter in a match he was leading 6-1, and eventually won 8-6. That ended a miserable run of form and now he looks to take it to 2nd place King, who was mauled by Taylor last week. Barney is 13/8 with Blue Square and can replicate last week’s form, if he stays focused. King is 6/5 with William Hill. Van Barneveld is 6/5 with Coral to throw the most 180′s.
James Wade v Simon Whitlock
In somewhat of a vital playoff match, 2 men on 12 points take each on and Wade will be looking to erase the memory of throwing away a 7-4 lead against Baxter. Wade was a hard opponent going into last week but his confidence may just have been knocked, the 6/4 on Whitlock with Paddy Power looks tempting. Wade is 5/4 with SportingBet.
Terry Jenkins v Phil Taylor
Jenkins could have made it a hattrick of wins against Barney last week but suffered another loss, at least he showed some good spirit by nearly snatching a draw from 6-1 down to the Dutchman. Taylor just oozes class though and should find no trouble here, The Power is 1/7 with Bet365, while Jenkins is as long as 16/1 with Betdaq. Skybet offer 4/7 about there being under 12.5 legs, which is a great bet.
Taylor is 2/7 to win the Final with Ladbrokes, James Wade is his closest opponent at 8/1 (Stan James). Adrian Lewis will struggle to make the top 4 as he plays Taylor on the last day, 2 points adrift. Wade is 2/1 fav with Boylesports to win the tournament without Taylor.
EXTRA!! If any player records a maximum 170 finish in any of the Premier League matches and then loses his match, Boylesports will refund all losing match bets on that player.
