Lewis Hamilton tightened his grip on the F1 season, despite only being 3 points clear at the top of the driver’s championship.
The 2 Brits completed a one-two at the Canadian GP, Hamilton managing to record back to back wins after a great race for McClaren. That success has pushed McClaren to generally odds on, SkyBet retaining 1/1 about them to take the constructor’s championship, 22 points clear at the top.
Vettel and Webber could not secure a podium spot as both had gearbox issues allowing Alonso to slip in for 3rd. Vettel is still 4/1 2nd fav with Ladbrokes but has actually slipped behind Alonso in the overall standings to 5th and 19 points behind front man Hamilton. Alonso commands a 6/1 shout with Stan James.
