Luke Donald is a 9/1 shot (Paddy Power) to be Europe’s best player and, interestingly, 5/2 at Sportingbet to be top Englishman. Lee Westwood is currently the 2/1 fav (Skybet) to be the best English player at the Ryder Cup but given Westwood’s injury and Donald’s two high profile 2nd places during September, the latter looks like he could shine for Europe this time round.
