Paul Ferguson on Monday. On Tuesday our resident tipsters fancies Dare Me and Garton King at Exeter.

Philip Hobbs continues to fire in the winners and he will be disappointed if Dare Me (3:40) can’t score at the first time of asking over timber at Exeter on Tuesday.

The trainer has saddled the winner of this race four times since 2000 and his Bob Back gelding has top-class bumper form to his name.
The six-year-old won his first two in that sphere before finishing sixth in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham and runner-up in Aintree’s Grade 2.
In the opener it can pay to side with Paul Nicholls’triple points winner Garton King (2:10) who won’t need to be a superstar to score on his first start under rules.
Bred to make a chaser, he should be more than capable of scoring over timber this season before he switches to the larger obstacles and this looks a realistic opportunity.
