Championship Team News

Have a look at who’s in and who’s out in all 12 of this weekend’s Championship games before you decide where to put your money.

Burnley v Watford
BURNLEY are without Danny Fox (ankle) and Martin Paterson (thigh) after midweek exertions but Andre Bikey should be fit again to slot into defence. Danny Graham is fine to play for WATFORD after a heavy challenge in his last game forced him off meaning Malky Mackay is only without Don Cowie (knee) ahead of the weekend’s trip.

Crystal Palace v Coventry
Edgar Davids has left CRYSTAL PALACE while Anthony Gardner (groin) is a doubt after missing 3 games and Sean Scannell and Lee Hills (both knee) are still suffering. COVENTRY have confirmed Ben Turner (knee) faces around 6 weeks out but James McPake, who came off injured with back problems midweek, is looking set to be fit.

Ipswich v Barnsley
Darren O’Dea and Mark Kennedy are fit again for IPSWICH but David Norris (ankle) and Gareth MacAuley (Achilles) miss out and Grant Leadbitter is suspended. Paul Hayes could return to the BARNSLEY side after being forced to sit out the Preston game but the arrival of Garry O’Connor has upped competition for places while Matt Hill (foot) is out.

Leeds v Bristol City
Max Gradel and Amdy Faye should be fit for LEEDS after missing training earlier in the week but Richard Naylor (knee) and Sanchez Watt (hamstring) are still injured. Cole Skuse is pushing for a start for BRISTOL CITY after an injury lay-off but Danny Rose (ankle) is doubtful so Jamal Campbell-Ryce will deputise if he doesn’t recover.

Leicester v Derby
LEICESTER have extended the loan of Curtis Davies until the New-Year while captain Matt Oakley and Miguel Vitor should both be fit to play. DERBY’s Miles Addison (foot) leaves for surgery and defenders Russell Anderson (hamstring) and Jake Buxton (groin) are injured but Dean Leacock returns from suspension and Alberto Bueno has a chance.

Millwall v Sheff Utd
MILLWALL marksman Steve Morison returns from suspension, but loan striker Theo Robinson (knee) is out and Kevin Lisbie and Neil Harris are major doubts. Rob Kozluk is hoping to make his first UNITED appearance since August, on-loan Andy Reid is back from a hamstring problem and started in midweek but Jamie Ward (ankle) is struggling.

Nott’m Forest v QPR
FOREST could again be without defender Kelvin Wilson (back), Garath McCleary (knee) remains sidelined but they have no further injury concerns. QPR boss Neil Warnock faces a defensive crisis. Bradley Orr and Matthew Connolly are suspended, Fitz Hall (groin) and Gavin Mahon (hamstring) are injured and Mikele Leigertwood is on international duty.

Portsmouth v Doncaster
Liam Lawrence is suspended for POMPEY, who could also be without David Nugent (knee) and Greg Halford who went off with a back injury in midweek. DONCASTER striker Billy Sharp (hamstring) is making good progress but this game comes too soon, George Friend, Adam Lockwood, Simon Gillett and Martin Woods are also missing for Rovers.

Scunthorpe v Cardiff
SCUNTHORPE are without David Mirfin (foot) and Rob Jones (hand) in defence but were boosted by the return of Kevin McDonald on Tuesday and the loanee could again feature from the bench, while Sam Togwell is pushing for a recall. Craig Bellamy is hoping to return for CARDIFF, after missing the trip to Reading but Kevin McNaughton is a doubt.

Reading v Norwich
READING could again be without the services of Jimmy Kebe as he battles back from a knee injury and Brynjar Gunnarsson remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. NORWICH midfielder Andrew Crofts is back from suspension and should go straight into the starting line-up but left-back Steven Smith joins a lengthy injury list with a hip problem.

Swansea v Middlesbrough
On-loan striker Marvin Emnes can’t face his parent club and SWANSEA will replace him with either Stephen Dobbie or Craig Beattie. BORO defender Stephen McManus faces a spell on the sidelines after damaging ankle ligaments in last weekend’s clash with Crystal Palace while Barry Robson (thigh) is rated 50-50 having missed the last two games.
