Realt Dubh has been introduced at 14/1 by totesport for the Arkle Chase following his victory in the Bord Na Mona With Nature Novice Chase in which hot favourite Mikael d’Haguenet could only finish fifth.
Noel Meade’s gelding travelled well and was the main beneficiary of Saludos’ crashing fall at the last which cleared the path for a comfortable success.
‘Mikael d’Haguenet didn’t look happy at all at Leopardstown and if connections can’t find the reason why he continually jumped right, then the Cheltenham Festival may well be off the agenda,’ said totesport spokesman George Primarolo.
Mikael d’Haguenet has been pushed out to 20/1 (from 12/1) for the Arkle Chase whilst Willie Mullins’ gelding is out to 10/1 (from 7/1) for the RSA Chase.
