Kauto Star is 4/6 favourite with Coral for Saturday’s King George VI Chase, following the final declarations for the Kempton showpiece.
Long Run is next at 6/1, ahead of Nacarat at 9/1, and the well-backed The Nightingale, now 10/1.
“It may be three weeks later than planned, but as far as many punters are concerned, the outcome will be the same as the previous four King Georges, with victory for Kauto Star, and if the each-way money is correct, his stablemate The Nightingale could follow him home,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
Also at Kempton on Saturday, six line up for the delayed Christmas Hurdle, for which Binocular is the 2/1 market leader with Coral, ahead of Starluck at 5/2.
