The Wolf Should Be Wary

Live on BBC2: Thu 19.00: The BDO World Champs heads into the quarters tonight; Wolfie Adams is just 1/6 (888sport) to beat Ross Smith.

Adams, 11/8 fav for the tournament (Coral), should really have no problems against Smith but Wolfie just avoided a slip up in the previous round against John Walton and there’s no reason why a motivated Ross Smith can’t get a set or three; Smith is 6/5 to win with a 2.5 set headstart (Paddy Power), well worth it.

The other match is a very tough one to call – Martin Phillips is even money with Ladbrokes to beat Gary Robson (10/11, Skybet). Robson to snatch it 5-4 is 5/1 at Totesport.

Thursday 6 January
Adams, M v Smith, Ross (18:30)
Phillips, M v Robson, G (20:00)
