Casey Fav At WGC Matchplay

Defending champion Ian Poulter bowed out on an extra hole playoff while Tiger Woods bowed out to Thomas Bjorn on day 1. Other notable losers were Padraig Harrington, Steve Stricker and Retief Goosen.

In fact, Stricker lost to 17-year-old Matteo Manassero, the young Italian now 66/1 at 888sport. He faces Charl Schwartzel today and is 13/10 (Totesport) to cause another shock. Paul Casey (10/1, Betfred) and Martin Kaymer (11/1, Ladbrokes) lead the market while Lee Westwood, in need of some form, is 18/1 at Stan James.
