5/2 about Phil Taylor is a large price for the 2009 winner of this competition and is surely worth keeping an eye on.
PDC World Champion Adrian Lewis is an eye-catching 16/1 at Sportingbet and will look to build on his victory over Anderson at Alexandra Palace. His 9th seed position will hinder him slightly but is well worth an each way shout at half odds (to reach the final).
World number 3 James Wade is 10/1 with Totesport but faces a 2nd round match with Phil Taylor should both of them make it through making up a very strong looking top half.
This could leave it open in the bottom half for Anderson and also Colin Lloyd; the latter is 3rd seed and a massive 40/1 at Ladbrokes.
