Soldatino heads the market for the rearranged totesport Trophy market at 6/1 (Totesport) after the race reverted to the five-day stage entries ahead of Friday’s meeting at Newbury.
All ante-post bets on the race will stand but the sponsors will refund any bets placed after the original five-day stage (Monday 7th February) on any horse which doesn’t take part in the rearranged race. All bets on special markets will be refunded.
“The rearranged totesport Trophy looks as if it will be almost as competitive as Saturday’s abandoned race but we feel it’s only fair to void any ante-post bets placed after the original five-day stage if the horse doesn’t line up on Friday,” said totesport spokesman George Primarolo.
Looking ahead to the weekend, West End Rocker is the 11/2 favourite with the sponsors for the totesport.com Grand National Trial at Haydock. Alan King’s gelding has also been popular for the John Smith’s Grand National since the unveiling of the weights this morning and has been cut to 20/1 (from 25/1) for the Aintree showpiece.
