The Champions League is back this week, Wednesday’s highlight is Arsenal v Barcelona and Spurs travel to AC Milan on Tuesday.
There are some excellent matches to bet on over the next few months, with the likes of Real Madrid, Roma, Valencia, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan all dreaming of a taking part in the Wembley Final.
Arsenal v Barcelona is perhaps the most eagerly anticipated match of the Last 16. The last 4 meetings between the two teams have produced scores of 1-4, 2-2, 2-4 and 1-1. Both teams play attractive, free flowing attacking football and a ‘goal fest’ looks to be on the cards. However, it is Barcelona who are really capturing the eye at the moment, with the likes of Messi, Pedro, Villa and Alves all in scintillating form and they are 1.20 at Unibet to qualify for the Quarter Finals whilst Arsenal who are prone to inconsistencies are 4.60.
Other teams who are big favourites to progress include Chelsea at odds 1.12 against Copenhagen at odds 6.25, Real Madrid at 1.25 against Lyon at odds 4.00 and Manchester United at odds 1.27 against Marseille at odds 3.75.
‘There are some cracking last 16 matches coming up, but the one I am most intrigued about is Tottenham v AC Milan.’ Says Erik Backlund Head of Unibet’s Sportsbook.
‘Spurs have already proven their class against Inter in the group stages and with the likes of Bale, Van Der Vaart and Modric they have nothing to fear against their Milan counterparts. AC Milan are also on top form, leading Serie A and with their own starts in Ibrahomivic, Robinho and Pato this looks set to be explosive! Tottenham are 2.00 to progress and AC Milan 1.80.’.Unibet offer odds on every match and have one of the most comprehensive live betting offers around.
