Coral has trimmed Pour Moi to 6-1 (from 7-1) for next month’s Investec Derby, after support for Andre Fabre’s charge ahead of his appearance at Thursday’s Breakfast with the Stars event at Epsom.
“We should learn more about Pour Moi’s Investec Derby chances after Thursday’s course workout, and if connections give the green light, he is likely to become clear second favourite behind market leader Carlton House,” reckoned Coral’s David Stevens.
Elsewhere, Sunday’s Tattersalls Gold Cup winner, So You Think, is 7-4 favourite (from 11-4) for the Coral-Eclipse, after significant support today.
“Although connections are rightly not looking beyond Royal Ascot at this stage, the support for So You Think for the Coral-Eclipse suggests someone thinks Sandown could be on his agenda, and we certainly regard him as the one to beat at this stage, although that could change after Workforce makes his reappearance on Thursday night,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
