England have drifted out to 7/1 with in the betting to win the European Under-21 Championship in Denmark, following their goalless draw against Ukraine in the second round of fixtures. Stuart Pearce’s men have now shared the spoils in both of their matches and need a victory over the Czech Republic in their final group match to qualify.
The Czechs will get through if they avoid defeat, but their odds to lift the trophy are out to 6/1 (Skybet) after they lost to Spain on Wednesday while the Spanish have been cut to 8/11 by Totesport, in the outright market, as a result of that victory.
Switzerland are now second favourites behind Luis Milla’s side, at 5/1 with bet365, having made it two wins out of two by beating Iceland and the hosts, Denmark, kept their hopes alive with a victory over Belarus but their odds drifted to 12/1 (Betfred) nonetheless.
