The world number 2 currently tops the betting with Ladbrokes for the US Open at 12/1, closely followed by compatriot Luke Donald at 14/1, in what is surely one of the most open majors in years.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told betrescue.com, “You’d have to go back to the late 90s when David Duval was in his pomp for the last time we had a favourite at such long odds. The fact that there’s no one outstanding candidate to win at the Congressional Club means that it could be a great weekend for the punters.”
