Simon Dyson, already a winner in Ireland and Holland in recent weeks, looks overpriced to score again in this week’s Dunhill Links Championship at 22/1 (bet365) and is a maximum bet at Evens with Betfred to beat an out of sorts Dustin Johnson over 72 holes.
Tom Lewis made a pleasing pro debut in Austria last week. After a slow start he ended a creditable tied 10th and at 110/1 with Betdaq he looks a huge price with 1/4 odds on 6 places here.
Luke Donald will be exhausted and although he cannot be ruled out looks poor value at 12′s (Boylesports) while Ross Fisher looks a tempting bet at 40/1 with Paddy Power as I believe he has a better chance than those odds suggest.
Scotsman Martin Laird plays some of his best Golf in Las Vegas and having won the Justin Timberlake Shriners Open in 2009, he was unlucky not to follow up last year – losing in a 3 man playoff. The Scot is worth backing this week at 16/1 at Coral.
Kyle Stanley looks a winner waiting to happen and should be included in your portfolio for this week at 25/1 (Totesport) while those liking the bigger prices could take Scott Piercy at 50/1 ().
