Rangers 9/1 For 3-0 Victory

Live on SS4 & ESPN: Sat 12.45 & Sun 12.00: Rangers can stick 3 or more past Dunfermline (6/4, Sportingbet) on Saturday lunchtime

Despite losing in the League Cup on Wednesday, Rangers line-up for their televised SPL encounter at Dunfermline on Saturday lunchtime following a big win in last weekend’s Old Firm clash, and Totesport expect them to follow that up with another maximum haul judged by their 4/11 quote.

The Pars are sliding down the SPL following a bright start, and nine goals shipped in their last three outings could see the Gers bag three or more at Sportingbet’s 6/4. More accurate types can get 9/1 for a 3-0 away win, with 16/1 for a 4-0 courtesy of Partybets.

A visit to Celtic Park may not be what Inverness were hoping for this weekend as they bid to climb from the foot of the table, and the bookies’ quote of 12/1 (Paddy Power) suggests three points will be very hard to come by.

However, punters can still play the markets in an attempt to steak a few quid from the match, and the first port of call is in the handicaps where Caley are a generous 11/10 with Stan James to win with a two-goal head start; such a handicap in Inverness’ favour would have seen them winners in four of the pair’s previous five meetings where only one goal split the sides.

With five goals in their last two competitive outings, there is good reason to believe Aberdeen will leave Motherwell with at least a point, and should the Dons secure a maximum haul, then Ladbrokes will be forced into paying out odds of 3/1.

Although the Well are enjoying a terrific season via their third place slot, it is worth noting they are winless in their last three competitive outings – losing out on penalties in midweek will hardly boost confidence either. With that in mind, and they fact they shipped nine goals in that sequence, bet365’s standout 6/4 for the away side breaking the deadlock could pay dividends, while shout 16/5 for the hosts’ shaky defence leaking in the first 26 minutes.

The cameras visit McDiarmid Park on Sunday lunchtime for St Johnstone’s encounter against Hearts, a fixture that produced a win apiece and a draw the last three times here since 2009.

The bookies’ prices reflect those three outcomes as there isn’t much in it with Hearts marginal 7/5 favourites with bet365, and Saints Betdaq’s 3.0 (2/1) outsiders. Backers looking to hedge their bets meanwhile, can snap up Skybet’s 12/5 for a draw.

Elsewhere, two bottom-half sides clash at Easter Road where Betfred go 6/4 about Hibernian and Dundee United in a tight-looking affair, while fifth-placed Kilmarnock are scoring for fun at present and are cracking value at Boylesports’ standout 19/10 to win at lowly St Mirren.
