After his victory at Newmarket on Saturday, Strong Suit has been propelled to 4/1 2nd fav (Coral) from 10/1 for the Breeders Cup Mile.
“That was an awesome performance by Strong Suit and any questions about his credentials for a Breeders Cup challenge were well and truly answered”, said Simon Clare, Coral Spokesman.
“At the weekend Gio Ponti proved that he is still the main US hope for the Mile but he couldn’t handle Goldikova last year and I see no reason why he will do any better this year”, added Clare.
“With no Zenyatta around this year, Goldikova is likely to be the headline act on Breeders Cup day but she will have to put up a star performance to beat Strong Suit”, concluded Clare.
