Long Run is 4/5 favourite with Stan James to win Saturday’s Betfair Chase at Haydock after Nacarat was pulled out, leaving five rivals.
StanJames.com spokesman Rory Jiwani says, “Long Run is a worthy favourite but this certainly won’t be a penalty kick for Nicky Henderson’s star with Diamond Harry boasting a particularly fine record when fresh.
“Weird Al and Time For Rupert will no doubt improve after finishing first and second in last month’s Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby, and what a story it would be if Kauto Star won a fourth Betfair Chase just over a month before he turns 12.”
