Watney opened the season in Hawaii with a T12 but has taken a couple of weeks off to prepare for the Farmers, where he is 16/1 co-fav with Betfred in a tough looking field.
He is joined on 16/1 by Phil Mickelson (Ladbrokes), who returned to action last week with a reasonable 49th while Hunter Mahan is next at 22/1 with Paddy Power.
Brandt Snedeker could be one of the top players to watch as he appeared to bring his good form of 2011 to the Humana with a T8 and he is available at 25/1 with Boylesports while Ernie Els is 33/1 (bet365) after losing out in a playoff last week.
