Barnsley v Millwall
BARNSLEY are without Danny Drinkwater whose loan deal was cut short so he could finalise a permanent switch to Leicester but boss Keith Hill has an otherwise unchanged squad. Alan Dunne and Shane Lowry are suspended for MILLWALL, Darren Ward and Scott Barron will deputise and loan signing Ryan Mason’s groin injury continues to delay his debut.

Birmingham v Watford
BIRMINGHAM defender Liam Ridgewell misses out with a hamstring injury, Stephen Carr (knee) isn’t quite ready but Jean Beausejour and David Murphy should be fit despite a nasty clash of heads in midweek. WATFORD midfielder Jonathan Hogg (knee) faces a late fitness test and Martin Taylor’s comeback has been halted after he broke a toe in a reserve encounter.

Blackpool v Crystal Palace
Matt Gilks returns to the BLACKPOOL goal having recovered from a groin injury, Barry Ferguson is back from suspension but Lomana LuaLua (hamstring) misses out. Sean Scannell is banned for PALACE after his red card against Leeds, Peter Ramage has returned to parent club QPR so Paul McShane could make his full debut having come off the bench last week.

Bristol City v Doncaster
CITY winger Albert Adomah continues to be troubled by a calf injury and is struggling while Marvin Elliott (hamstring) is in the same boat but Stephen Pearson is available after a ban. DONCASTER have no new concerns but could hand Damien Plessis his debut, albeit from the bench and fellow new boys Habib Bamogo and Mamadou Bagayoko also lack match fitness.

Burnley v Derby
Martin Paterson and Junior Stanislas both miss out for BURNLEY with hamstring injuries, with Charlie Austin and Marvin Bartley hopeful of replacing the duo. Danny Ings meanwhile, could make the bench after lengthy lay-off. Steve Davies and Jeff Hendricks are back in contention for DERBY but Nathan Tyson remains sidelined with a persistent groin problem.

Cardiff v Portsmouth
CARDIFF will assess the fitness of Kevin McNaughton (calf), Rudy Gestede (ankle) and Robert Earnshaw (muscle), giving the trio every chance of making it. PORTSMOUTH are down to the bare bones; David Norris starts a three-match ban, Aaron Mokoena (hamstring) and Hayden Mullins (calf) are struggling while Herman Hreidarsson has moved to Coventry.

Coventry v Middlesbrough
Herman Hreidarsson and Alex Nimely are set to make their COVENTRY debuts but Freddy Eastwood is a doubt with a calf problem. MIDDLESBROUGH striker Lukas Jutkiewicz won’t line-up against his former club but Barry Robson returns from his two-match ban while manager Tony Mowbray also hopes to have goalkeeper Jason Steele back from a thigh injury.

Leeds v Ipswich
Fabian Delph will go straight into the LEEDS squad after rejoining the club on-loan from Aston Villa, Robert Snodgrass is set to start but Patrick Kisnorbo (knee) is out for the season. IPSWICH have been boosted by news that Jason Scotland is fit, despite limping off last week. Grant Leadbitter and Damien Delaney could also be ready but Lee Bowyer (groin) is out.

Peterborough v Brighton
Fit-again captain Grant McCann is expected to go straight back into the PETERBOROUGH squad, Tommy Rowe (Achilles) is also available and Lee Frecklington is nearing a return. BRIGHTON skipper Gordon Greer is back after a three-match ban, Adam El-Abd could be recalled after he was rested in midweek but Jake Forster-Caskey’s knock will be assessed.

Reading v Hull
Depleted READING have a lengthy injury list that includes Mikele Leigertwood (thigh), Jobi McAnuff (groin), Andy Griffin (Achilles) and Mathieu Manset (hamstring) while Jimmy Kebe (knee) is rated doubtful. HULL have no fresh concerns; Robert Koren is expected to shrug off the dead leg suffered last week and new signing Josh King is set to make the squad.

West Ham v Nottingham Forest
WEST HAM boss Sam Allardyce has no new injury problems to contend with, although the game comes slightly too soon for Matt Taylor (calf). George John could make the squad having joined from FC Dallas. FOREST are set to recall some of those rested for the midweek cup loss at Leicester including Marcus Tudgay, Lewis McGugan and Radoslaw Majewski.

Southampton v Leicester (Mon)
Yago Falque could make his SOUTHAMPTON debut after joining on-loan from Spurs, Steve De Ridder is pushing to start but Jose Fonte (toe) is a doubt and Rickie Lambert is suspended. LEICESTER midfielder Andy King is set for a lengthy absence with an Achilles injury but the Foxes are hopeful of concluding a deal for Danny Drinkwater in time for Monday’s clash.
