Following a heavy ten-wicket defeat in the 1st Test, England are now 6/1 to win the Test Series against Pakistan with Coral.
Pakistan are 4-9 to win the series, and 7-1 to win it 3-0.
England went into the series as the world’s number one ranked team, and as a result, the defeat was good news for bookmakers.
“As the world’s best – on rankings at least – England were well-backed to win both the series and the opening Test, and even when they were skittled out for 192 in the first innings, many in-running punters expected them to make a game of it, which, luckily for us, they never did, and Andrew Strauss’s men now have it all to do to win the next two,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
