Live on Skysports 1: Thu 06.00: Rory McIlory is just 4/1 (Totesport) to win the Dubai Classic while Paul Lawrie is 35/1 for another win.
Rory McIlroy is back in action this week for his 2nd appearance of 2012 and a 2nd place in Abu Dhabi showed he is still in good shape. The bookies have him at just 4/1 (Totesport) to win the Dubai Desert Classic and regain his 2009 title – he leads from 9/1 Martin Kaymer (Ladbrokes).
Paul Lawrie is in fantastic form lately and he has to be considered at 35/1 at bet365. He won last week in Qatar and William Hill put 12/5 on him to finish in the top 10.
Lee Westwood is 11/1 with Betfred while defending champion Alvaro Quiros is 25/1 with bet365. Peter Hanson, who recorded an excellent T2 last week, is 25/1 with Ladbrokes and is a good each way bet.
