A winner of a Warwick maiden in December, the six-year-old followed up in a novice handicap at Ludlow earlier this month under today’s rider Harry Derham.
Up just 5lbs for that success, Paul Nicholls’s runner looked one to keep on the right side of with the way he travelled throughout the contest and it would appear as though good ground is important to him.
This afternoon’s ground will be the quickest he has encountered to date, but it shouldn’t pose any problems to him and he can complete the hat-trick with his talented young jockey claiming a valuable 8lbs.
