Get On This Friday Double

Paul Ferguson has two selections today, Fourth Estate in the 14.00 (Donc) and Let’s Get Serious in the 14.20 (Newb); Compare odds and bet

Nicky Henderson looks to have several changes at his local track Newbury, but FOURTH ESTATE (2:00) can get the weekend winners rolling for him in Doncaster’s opener this afternoon.

The six-year-old was impressive in winning both bumper starts last term and didn’t enjoy the soft ground on his debut over hurdles last month.

He was still able to maintain his unbeaten record that day and it’ll be no surprise to see him improve dramatically for this afternoon’s quicker conditions.

Back to Newbury where LET’S GET SERIOUS (2:20) is another who can continue his 100% career record in the 2m5f novice hurdle.

The son of Overbury won a Cheltenham bumper in October 2010 and defied an absence of almost 14 months when winning a novice hurdle at Fontwell in December.

The form of that race looks fairly strong with the third placed Fox Hunt winning twice in handicap company since (latterly off 130) and, with the step up in trip a plus, he can complete a quick-fire across the card double for the stable.

Friday’s selections:
2:00 Doncaster – Fourth Estate
2:20 Newbury – Let’s Get Serious
