It’s all change in the Premier League as Man City are into 7/2 from 16’s for the title and Wigan are eased to 10/11 for relegation by Stan James.
StanJames.com spokesman Rory Jiwani says, “The title race looked all over before tonight but Manchester United’s shock defeat at Wigan and Manchester City’s comfortable 4-0 win over West Brom means the gap is down to five points. United are 1/6 from 1/100 to retain their title with City now 7/2 from 16/1 to seize the crown from their neighbours.
“Much will now depend on the Manchester derby at the Etihad on April 30th. We make City 6/4 to win that clash with United 15/8 and the draw 23/10.
“Wigan’s win over United has boosted their survival hopes with fellow strugglers QPR also moving out of the bottom three with a 3-0 victory over Swansea. Blackburn and Bolton are now in the drop zone and we make them 4/9 and 6/5 respectively to go down with Bolton having played one less game than their rivals. Wigan are 10/11 for the drop with QPR 11/8 to be relegated and Aston Villa 12/1 outsiders to be playing Championship football next season.”
