Only a couple of issues remain unresolved in the Championship ahead of the final day with two teams vying for the second automatic promotion place and another couple hoping to secure the final play-off place.
Southampton and West Ham are battling it out for second, with Saints holding a two-point lead and given that they host relegated Coventry, it will take a monumental slip-up for them to blow it at this stage.
They’re 1/3 at best with Coral to pick up the three points that would take it out of the Hammers’ hands and as Nigel Adkins’ men have the more home victories than anyone else in the Championship this term, there seems to be no reason to oppose them save for the potential for them to fold under pressure.
With matters out of their hands, all Sam Allardyce’s troops can do is keep up their side of the bargain and beat Hull, a result Paddy Power price at 1/2 but West Ham have own only one of their last eight matches at Upton Park so they can’t be relied upon against a reasonably solid Tigers outfit.
In the tussle for the top six Cardiff are in the driving seat with Middlesbrough snapping at their heels and it looks set to be a case of ‘as you were’ because both teams should pick up victories.
Although one will just about do, Cardiff are 11/10 via Blue Square to pick up three points at a Crystal Palace side without a win in eight and Boylesports chalk 6/4 against Boro, ahead of their trip to Watford.
