Sanctuaire has been cut to 8/1 by BetVictor top land next year’s Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham after his win at Sandown.
The Paul Nicholls-trained novice jumped superbly to take the bet365.com Celebration Chase by a massive 17 lengths from Somersby and the layers were quick to act.
BetVictor meanwhile, have also clipped Gulf of Naples from 12/1 to 7/1 to scoop the Chester Cup after the grey colt claimed the spoils in the Betfred “The Bonus King” Handicap at Ripon.
Mark Johnston’s four-year-old beat Halla San by five lengths in the Class 2 contest and is now second favourite for the May renewal, behind 6/1 shot Overturn.
