A Tiger Woods win at the Masters, satrting Thursday afternoon, will trigger a payout of at least £1 million according to Ladbrokes.
There has been a surge of bets on Tiger over night on the 4 time Masters Champion and Woods is 9/2 to win, from 5/1, with Ladbrokes.
Donald is the worst result in the book though at 14/1 while Lee Westwood has attracted plenty of patriotic punts, causing him to be cut into 16/1 from 20/1.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The liabilities on home grown players are through the roof, so for a change we’re happy to payout on Tiger as he’ll still be a winner in the book.”
She added: “This year is one of the best ever for English golfers to dominate the Masters and patriotic punters have latched on to that.”
