Sunday Racing Double

Paul Ferguson has two selectiosn for us on Sunday and considers; Turn Over Sivola in the 14.10, Plumpton and Shoegazer in the 14.00 at Uttoxeter. Compare odds and bet.

Despite failing to get his head in front in four starts in bumpers Turn Over Sivola (2:10) showed enough to suggest he’ll be winning races and Alan King appears to have found him a fine opportunity in Plumpton’s opening maiden hurdle today.

The five-year-old has run behind some useful prospects on all four starts, including last time when fourth to the potentially smart Irish Buccaneer, having been the last horse to come off the bridle.

The son of Assessor looks a cut above his rivals here and can score under Robert Thornton at the first time of asking over timber.

The opening novice chase at Uttoxeter looks a cracking contest with Tour Des Champs an interesting chasing recruit, while Nick Williams’s Lady Everywhere was an impressive winner at Chepstow last month.

But, it can pay to side with the penalised Shoegazer (2:00) who was a useful hurdler and he made a fine start to his chasing career at Hereford just 10 days ago.

David Pipe’s seven-year-old ran out a 20-length winner and looks to have plenty to offer over the larger obstacles.

Sunday’s selections:

2:00 Uttoxeter Shoegazer

2:10 Plumpton Turn Over Sivola
