£20 Saturday Double Returns £225

Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Saturday; Priceless Jewel in the 3.10 at York and Pearl Secret in the Sandown 3.25. Compare odds and bet.

With Royal Ascot just three days away, it’s hardly surprising this afternoon is relatively quiet for a Saturday, but there is a potentially high-class sprinter on show in Sandown’s Listed Scurry Stakes in the shape of the unbeaten Pearl Secret (3:25).

The progressive chestnut completed the hat-trick in style at York’s Dante meeting and he earlier proved he handles testing conditions when making a winning reappearance on heavy ground in April.
David Barron’s three-year-old was trading a best price 8/13 with Bet Victor this morning and probably has Ballesteros to beat, as he has his conditions this afternoon.
Up at York the valuable Bond Tyres Trophy can go the way of Priceless Jewel (3:10) for Roger Charlton and James Doyle.
The Selkirk filly was an impressive maiden winner at Newbury last backend and she made a winning return on the all-weather at Kempton last month, where she was delivered with a well-timed run to beat a couple of subsequent winners (runner-up bolted up in a Haydock maiden and the third won handicaps at Hamilton and Ayr).
The selection gave the front two 5lbs that day and she looks a filly on an upward curve.  Available at 6/1 this morning (Ladbrokes) she is worth chancing despite not having any form on an easy surface, as she is bred to handle conditions being a half-sister to the same connections’ Tante Rose, who won Haydock’s Group 1 Sprint Cup in September 2004.
