In the Champions League, Coral make Barcelona their 11/4 favs to win while Man City are eased to 9/1 after a tough draw.
Real Madrid, in City’s group, are next in the betting at 9/2. Man United have been cut to 8/1 after a decent draw of Braga, Galatasaray and CFR Cluj.
“We’ve cut Barcelona’s outright odds after a group draw that couldn’t have been any better. They were favourites before the draw and we believe that this just cements their position”, said Coral spokesman James Dirs.
“It has been another tough European draw for Roberto Mancini’s side. We still rank them amongst the favourites for the cup however due to their difficult opening stages they have been eased in the betting to 9-1”, added Dirs.
Defending Champions Chelsea are in the same group as Serie A winners Juventus, as well as Shakhtar Donetsk and Danish side FC Nordsjalland. Coral quote 12/1 on the West London side retaining their title.
“Winning back to back Champions League’s would be an incredible achievement, but Chelsea are a fantastic side that have started the season in excellent form, so we believe the 12-1 to be a fair price”, said Dirs.
