Dawn Approach has been cut from 7/1 to 5/1 by Stan James for next year’s 2000 Guineas after Saturday’s comfortable triumph at the Curragh.
The Jim Bolger-trained colt prevailed by almost five lengths in the Group One Goffs Vincent O’Brien Stakes over seven furlongs and he’s well clear of Toronado in the betting for the Newmarket Classic, although the latter is now into 10/1 from 20s at Stan James after he captured the Champagne Stakes on St Leger day at Doncaster.
Stan James meanwhile, have also slashed Toronado from 25/1 to 12/1 in the Derby betting after his Town Moor win.
