Brendan Rodgers has been halved to 5/1 (from 10’s) by BetVictor to be the first PL manager to leave his post after a weekend defeat.
BetVictor spokesperson Charlie McCann: “Having suggested that he would not loan out Andy Carroll and with a squad that looks thin and lacking in quality by Liverpool standards this has certainly not been a honeymoon period for the Northern Irishman and you get the impression the supporters won’t be as patient with the former Swans boss as they were with Dalglish and Benitez; indeed he is only likely to be given the same amount of time to win over the Reds’ faithful as Roy Hodgson. Liverpool have three more PL games in September and they are 11/8 to get six or more points from those three games. ”
