StanJames.com make Camelot their 11/4 clear favourite for Sunday’s Prix De L’Arc De Triomphe after the draw was made in Paris today.

While it may not stop him winning, it will certainly hinder his chances as low draws have been favoured in recent years. Camelot is now 11/4 favourite with Orfevre out to 10/3.
“Prix Niel and French Derby winner Saonois is in to 15/2 after being handed stall 2 with Prix Vermeille winner Shareta an 8/1 shot after being drawn 11. St Nicholas Abbey is 9/1 and it’s 10/1 bar for the big race at Longchamp.
“As far as today’s interesting card at Ascot goes, Mark Johnston’s Idler is popular in the first and we make him 3/1 favourite to follow up under a penalty after his win at Newmarket. Also well backed is Jake’s Destiny with George Baker’s inmate now 3/1 joint-favourite for the 2.55 with Gaul Wood. Marcus Tregoning’s Mulaqen is 5/1 from 7/1 in another very competitive heat at 3.30.
“In the feature, the listed Noel Murless Stakes at 4.05, Biographer is the 5/2 favourite for David Lanigan with Sir Graham Wade next best at 3/1.
