Sat 15.00: Barnet’s revival looks set to continue in League Two, the Bees a tempting 13/5 (BetVictor) to prevail at Morecambe.
We tipped Barnet to get the better of Torquay on Tuesday and we make no apology for siding with the recovering Bees again, after they duly obliged against the Gulls in midweek.
This week they head to Morecambe, who are winless in four across all competitions and with Barnet having taken ten points from an available dozen either side of the cup reverse against Oxford, they look overpriced at 13/5 with BetVictor to leave Christie Park with a maximum haul.
The Bees’ revival seems to have coincided with the arrival of Edgar Davids and they have certainly kept things tight under the tutelage of the Dutch master, keeping four consecutive clean sheets in the league.
That run lends appeal to Coral’s 11/1 for the North London outfit to grab the only goal and also Skybet’s 3/1 marked against an away victory ‘to nil’.
Elsewhere, pacesetters Gillingham have racked up six victories in eight attempts on their travels and they’re decent value at 11/10 (William Hill) to add to that tally at patchy Plymouth while York aren’t without appeal at 9/10 via BetVictor to get the better of AFC Wimbledon.
