Czech on 4/1 Tomas at Bradford

Live on Skysports 1: Tues 19.45: Arsenal (2/5, Coral) should see off Bradford in the Capital One Cup and Tomas Rosicky can strike.

Bradford have enjoyed mixed fortunes in the two main cups this term to say the least. The Bantams have been booted out of the FA Cup having fielded an ineligible player in the second round but they have defied the odds to reach the last eight in Capital One Cup and will tackle Arsenal for a place in the semi final.

Naturally, the Gunners are favourites to get the better of their League Two opponents at Valley Parade, where Arsene Wenger’s side are just 2/5 at Coral to come out on top in 90 minutes.

Another upset from City meanwhile, is an 8/1 shot at BetVictor and Skybet chalk the tie up at 4/1 to require extra-time.

The visitors will inevitably make plenty of changes, fielding a youthful and inexperience line-up but as their next Premier League assignment isn’t until Monday, Wenger has more scope to include the odd bigger name and that should see North London giants edge this one.

Nevertheless, on their own patch, the Bantams should find the net and it’s 4/5 via bwin for both teams to strike. With that in mind Stan James’ 15/2 for the Gunners to card a 2-1 success catches the eye but it could be worth focusing on a particular player in West Yorkshire.

Tomas Rosicky is continue to build his match fitness since returning from injury at the start of the month and has made two cameo appearances in the Premier League. However, the Czech schemer started Arsenal’s European dead rubber at Olympiakos, scoring a goal before being withdrawn at the interval and he could do likewise in this one.

Wenger will be keen to give Rosicky more game time and if he is on the pitch from the first whistle then Betfred’s 4/1 for him to get on the scoresheet at any stage will definitely be worth an interest.

In the evening’s other encounter, Norwich welcome former boss Paul Lambert’s Aston Villa to Carrow Road and it’s the in-form Canaries, at 23/20 (Coral) that should ease through in normal time.

Recommended Bets:
Tomas Rosicky to score at any time – 4/1 (Betfred)
Norwich to beat Aston Villa – 23/20 (Coral)
