Zarkander has been cut to 6/1 from 7/1 by Coral for the Champion Hurdle after his weekend victory in the International Hurdle.
The Paul Nicholls-trained five-year-old prevailed by two lengths at Cheltenham, from Grandouet, who is in to 7/1 in the Antepost betting for the Champion Hurdle while third placed Rock on Ruby has drifted to 10/1 from 8/1 via Coral to defend his title at the festival.
Elsewhere, Unioniste is 16/1 (Coral) for the Ryanair Chase after scoring victory in the Paul Stewart Gold Cup, stablemate Far Wast is 6/1 from 8/1 for the JCB Triumph Hurdle and Coral have cut Nicky Henderson’s Oscar Whiskey from 14/1 to 12/1 to capture the Champion Hurdle.
“Further Saturday big race success has seen Paul Nicholls cut for the title, although Nicky Henderson ended the day with victory for Oscar Whisky and remains favourite to wrestle the championship from Ditcheat,” Coral’s David Stevens told Betrescue.com.
