Of more immediate concern for the Sky Blues however, is the fact that they’re about to be deducted ten points for going into administration and that will immediately put paid to their hopes of reaching the play-offs.
Morale will be low then amongst the City players, who might feel that their hard work over 40 games has been for nought and they might struggle to pick themselves up for the visit of League One leaders Doncaster.
Couple this with the fact that Coventry’s home record is sketchy at best while Rovers do their best work on the road and Brian Flynn’s charges look great value at 15/8 (bet365) to inflicty more misery on the hosts.
We flagged Doncaster up last Saturday and they did the business at the Scunthorpe but we also added Bournemouth to the mix a week ago and we’re happy to do so again as the Cherries go in search of a fourth straight win at Colchester.
Eddie Howe’s side are right back in form and hammered Bury 4-1 last time out so at odds of 6/5 via Coral they should be able to dent the U’s survival hopes.
