A frustrating home draw with Leyton Orient on Tuesday saw Sheffield United ousted from top spot in League One but the Blades have been fantastic on the road of late, winning three on the spin including last week’s impressive 1-0 success at Bournemouth.
This week they head to Oldham and despite the Latics’ recent improvement, it’s hard to oppose Danny Wilson’s side, Coral’s 13/10 favourites, especially as the hosts might have something of a hangover in the wake of their cup exploits coming to an end at Everton in midweek.
Brentford boosted their own promotion hopes with a victory at Crawley last time out and the Bees’ strength at home suggests they should have too much for struggling Scunthorpe, an outcome Betfred price at 4/6.
Staying with the tight scrap at the top, Yeovil have moved into the play-off places on the back of a run of eight wins in ten and they’re worth an interest at 5/4 with BetVictor as they come up against Tranmere.
Admittedly Rovers are in third spot but their form of late has been pretty poor, the emphatic victory at relegation-threatened Colchester aside, while the Glovers have posted more victories on their own patch than any other team in League One and can pick up their seventh home success on the spin in this one.
Treble on Sheff Utd, Brentford and Yeovil – 15/2 (Coral)
