Jose 10/11 to draw a blank

Jose Mourinho is 10/11 with Ladbrokes to win no trophies next season after he was officially unveiled as the new Chelsea boss.

The Portuguese described himself as ‘the Happy One’ as he addressed the media in his first press conference since his return to Stamford Bridge but Ladbrokes make him odds-on to be unhappy this time next year having landed no silverware.

It’s 11/8 at Ladbrokes for Chelsea to win one major trophy during the forthcoming campaign, they also offer 13/2 about the Blues clinching two cups and mark 40/1 against them scooping three.

The former Real Madrid manager is evens (Ladbrokes) to last longer in his second spell with the club than he did in his first and he’s 11/10 to complete his four year contract.

Money meanwhile, has come in at Ladbrokes for Chelsea to remain unbeaten at home all season, an outcome that has subsequently been cut to 4/1 from 10/1.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes told Betrescue: “Jose might say he’s happy now, but he won’t be in May 2014 if he hasn’t got his hands on any silverware.”
