Live on Sky Sports 1: Thu: 10:30 Angus Loughran previews the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
An event that started as an International Team event in 1985 is very much an individual event now with British or Irish players having won nine of the dozen Dunhill Links Championships.
Martin Kaymer, a winner of this event in 2010, looks a decent price at 20/1 with Coral here, I thought he should be shorter while Paul Casey at 25/1 (bet365) has a great chance of winning for the second time this season following his June triumph in the Irish Open.
The mild weather forecast, predicting little wind, should enable decent scoring and I would be very suprised if one of Kaymer or Casey is not in contention come Sunday afternoon.
One longer-priced runner I like, at 45/1 via Boylesports, is Victor Dubuisson who has played really well in the past while despite being right out of form Marc Warren could be dangerous at 80/1 (Stan James); he has the ability but has really stuggled to finish the job off when getting into contention in recent years.
