Get ‘Well soon at 4/1

Live on BTSport 1: Mon 19.45: Motherwell to nick a point (4/1, BetVictor) at Celtic is one of three picks in the Scottish Premiership this week.

Inverness travel to St Johnstone with the aim of hanging on to top spot in the Scottish Premiership and heading to Perth on the back of a 3-0 victory against Hibs they’re 13/8 with BetVictor to frank that form by bagging another three points here.

The Saints are sitting in mid-table, without a league win in five so they’ll do well to halt the momentum of the visitors, who are 4/1 via Skybet to prevail ‘to nil’ in a fixture that looks a banker at 9/10 (Stan James) to produce fewer than three goals given that there have only been six in the pair’s last seven meetings.

Celtic kept up the pressure on Inverness last week with their own three-goal triumph, at Killie, and Ladbrokes rate the Hoops at 4/9 to back that up by beating a solid Motherwell outfit (8/1, BetVictor). However, I’ve a feeling the hosts’ midweek exertions against Barcelona could catch up with them and BetVictor’s 4/1 for ‘Well to nick a point subsequently catches the eye. Alternatively, the Steelmen are 11/2 in Coral’s ‘Draw No Bet’ market.

Despite needing a late leveller to snatch a point at St Mirren, Aberdeen should collect a maximum haul at a faltering Ross County side with five defeats already on their record after just eight matches. Betfred make the Dons 11/8 to emerge triumphant and it’s 13/4 (Ladbrokes) for them to do so by one.

Partick have drawn three of their four home matches and it would no surprise to see the spoils shared again as the Jags entertain Hibs. The duo’s last meeting at Firhill, back in 2004, ended all square and this one is 12/5 with bet365 to follow suit while a repeat of the 1-1 scoreline from that one isn’t without appeal at 13/2 via BetVictor.

Elsewhere, Dundee United are in decent shape at present and they’re certainly a candidate for inclusion in accumulators at 5/6 (Paddy Power) as they come up against a struggling Kilmarnock team still without a victory this term. Punters looking to back the Terrors at heftier odds should head to the handicaps, where Paddy Power penalise them by a goal at 12/5.

Finally, BetVictor chalk a dogged Hearts up at 5/4 to close the gap on winless St Mirren at the foot of the table by beating the Buddies at Tynecastle and it’s a tempting 3/1 courtesy of Ladbrokes for the goal-shy Jambos to edge it by one in a contest that’s 5/6 with Paddy Power to generate fewer than 2.5 goals.

Recommended Bets:
Under 2.5 goals double at St Johnstone & Hearts – 23/10 (BetVictor)
Celtic and Motherwell to draw – 4/1 (BetVictor)
Double on Aberdeen and Dundee Utd – 13/4 (Betfred)
