Wigan currently sit in mid-table in the Championship with a perfectly symmetrical record of four wins, four draws and four defeats so consistency hasn’t exactly been the Latics speciality this term.
However, there’s a marked difference between their performances on the road and those at the DW Stadium, where Owen Coyle’s men remain unbeaten in all competitions.
Wigan demonstrated their resilience at home in midweek as they held high-flying QPR to a goalless draw and they can fare a touch better this weekend as they entertain Huddersfield.
The Terriers are a point in front of the Latics in the table, but like the hosts they don’t travel too well and have also won just one of their last six league matches, so it’s easy to side with a home victory in this one at 10/11 (Coral).
Also set to pick up three points in front of their own supporters are Bournemouth. The Cherries have won four out of six at Dean Court and up against a struggling Bolton side desperately short of confidence, Eddie Howe’s men look overpriced at a generous 6/4 with William Hill.
