Martello Tower 11/10 @ Killarney

Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; Martello Tower in the Killarney 17:05. Compare odds and bet.

The opening maiden hurdle at Killarney on Monday evening is a decent contest for the time of year, with impressive bumper winner Badgerfort and smart points scorer Clondaw Dude among those who are respected, but Martello Tower (5:05) looked good when winning a bumper at last year’s Punchestown Festival and backed that up when winning at Fairyhouse last month.

Mags Mullins’ six-year-old ought to relish this 2m4f trip, given how strongly he has finished off in his bumpers, and it will be disappointing if he doesn’t make a winning debut over timber, before going on to better things later in the year.

Monday’s selection:
5:05 Killarney: Martello Tower; 11/10 bet365
