Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Aalim in the Market Rasen: 16:25. Compare odds and bet.
The in-form pairing of John Ferguson and Aidan Coleman look to have a couple of sound chances at Market Rasen on Sunday, with the smart ex-Flat performer Nabucco sure to be difficult to beat in the opener.
He is likely to be priced up accordingly, however, so from a punting perspective Aalim (16:25) is of more interest in the extended 2m7f handicap hurdle.
The five-year-old made his debut over fences recently, but returns to hurdles on a fair mark (128) having won off 127 and 132, under similar conditions, last summer. The Nayef gelding went on to run in some stronger handicaps throughout last winter and, with a couple of runs during June under his belt (had been off since Boxing Day), he might be ready to return to his best.
