David Brown’s Acclamation filly stepped up on her debut fifth at Newmarket, where she had been prominent for a long way before fading, to score over today’s 6f trip and an opening mark of 70 seems reasonable.
The selection has been handed an entry in the Group 2 Lowther Stakes at York next week, so is clearly held in some regard by her powerful connections.
